Emmy Awards: estos son todos los ganadores

Los ganadores de los 72º Primetime Emmy Awards fueron anunciados durante el domingo en una ceremonia virtual, con Watchmen liderando la noche con 11 victorias. Su cadena, HBO, se llevó a casa la mayor cantidad de victorias de la ceremonia de premios con 30 en total.

HBO's Watchmen se ganó el premio a serie limitada, mientras que los miembros del elenco Regina King y Yahya Abdul-Mateen II se ganaron las categorías de serie limitada por actriz principal y mejor actor de reparto, respectivamente. Esta es la cuarta victoria de Regina King.

Watchmen también se llevó el premio a Mejor Guión de Película/Serie Limitada o Especial Dramático para Damon Lindelof y Cord Jefferson. Lindelof dedicó su victoria a las víctimas y sobrevivientes de la masacre de Tulsa de 1921, la cual fue presentada en la serie.

Sin embargo, Watchmen perdió en la categoría de Mejor Dirección en Serie Limitada, Película, o Especial Dramático en donde Maria Schrader de Unorthodox venció a tres participantes diferentes de Watchmen.

Mientras tanto, Schitt's Creek disfrutó de victorias históricas en todas las categorías del campo de comedia, ganando siete premios en total.

Mark Ruffalo ganó el premio de Actor Principal en una Serie Limitada por I Know This Much Is True, en donde interpreta a hermanos gemelos. Zendaya ganó el premio a Mejor Actriz en Serie de Drama por Euphoria, la recipiente más joven hasta ahora de esta categoría. Jeremy Strong de Succession ganó mejor actor de serie de drama.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver ganó por Serie Variety Talk, mientras que RuPaul's Drag Race ganó por mejor Programa de Competencia. Jesse Armstrong ganó por mejor guión en serie de drama.
