En esta ocasión tenemos un top elegido por más de 6,000 personas de Japón del sitio web BIGLOBE. Este top refleja cuales son las series favoritas de anime original de los japoneses, y teniendo tantos votos podemos decir que son resultados muy precisos de lo que más le gusta a la mayoría.

Una serie original de anime se refiere a una producción que no este basada en una novela, un manga o un videojuego.

El primer anime original es el padre de todos los demás, pues Osamu Tezuka creó Astroboy precisamente para ser un anime inicialmente (aunque también Tezuka publicó un manga que ganó lo mismo de fama y se hizo todo un clásico).
